Warwickshire County Council, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire Police have been developing ways to work more closely with local residents to find out what's important to them in their local area.

As part of this partners have worked to develop a vision for Locality Working. ‘Locality working'' is about improving and simplifying the way the partners, who provide public services, work. These partners also include local health services and local community groups.

How has this been done?
Countywide we have set up 30 community forums, each one serving the needs of its ‘locality'. At community forums local people have the chance to discuss what's important to them in their community with their local councillors and organisations that provide public services.

What does this mean to you?
In Nuneaton and Bedworth we have set up 7 Community Forums. Your local community forum is an open public meeting that meets four times per year at various locations within your local area, usually on a week day evening. Safer Neighbourhoods
Warwickshire Police are working with communities and partners to identify and address local and force-wide policing issues. To find out about your Safer Neighbourhood Teams please visit their website.
